Did you know that Arcade Manufacturing Inc. founded as the Novelty Iron Works in 1868? It was originally founded by Edward H. and Charles Morgan with ten employees. Around 1874, the company was reorganized as the Arcade Manufacturing Company with its great expansion.

Arcade Company was well known for producing high-quality cast iron coffee mills, spring hinges, cork extractors and stove dampers. Around 1897, the company really focused on making coffee mills. Some of the popular coffee mills manufactured by Aracde include : Telephone Mills, X-Ray, Royal, the Jewel, the Bell, the Golden Rule, and the Crystal. They continued making coffee mills until 1930s.

One of the most popular coffee mills made by Arcade is "The Crystal" which was first introduced after the turn of the 20th century. It is still a highly collectible item.
